the Bear SG malay chicken rice.. actually it's nasi ayam penyet.. they fry the chicken with spices, then they proceed to smash it with a mallet... it's served with sambal belachan, and some cucumber and veggies on a wooden plate like this: ah-balling is a dessert... glutinous rice flour dough is used to wrap fillings like bean paste, ground peanut, yam paste or sesame paste.. then in a peanut, almond or ginger soup... like this: a horlicks dinosaur is like this.. only, the picture is a milo (original) version of it there.. lunch for me
